Update 6/4/14: Changed over to DD-WRT version 22000M by Kong. For more detail, search Google for "my-cisco-linksys-e4200-dd-wrt-settings-for-max-speed". It's been very stable and the e4200 is still running great. Note that the newer e4200 v2 is not supported (different chipset), so you'll need an e4200 v1 if you want to run DD-WRT.

Next, I tried testing with the latest-available build of DD-WRT, which was 30949, released on December 15, 2016. DD-WRT Preview for Linksys® WRT1900AC/WRT1200AC January 15, 2016. Following Linksys’ CES announcement made on Jan 05th in Las Vegas accompanied by a first preview version for the Linksys WRT1900AC now also versions for the WRT1200AC, WRT1900AC v2 & WRT1900ACS are available via DD-WRT’s router database. For those looking for a complete list or search features by hardware specs we are working on extending the router database to provide these features.
